Hello friends! I love Altenew's Bouquet of Poppies. The stamp set is huge ... 8 1/2" by 11"! With all the incredibly gorgeous images and heartfelt sentiments, the possibilities are endless. I love that this set has coordinating stencil and die sets. I have paired it with an another sbeautiful tamp set,Layered Laurel, in this pretty sympathy card.
On Bristol Smooth card stock, Mountain Pine, Shadow Creek, Grass Fields and Firefly ( Green Fields Fresh Dye Inks Set ) were applied with Large Blending Brushes. Beginning in the centre with lightest tone, the ink was graduated to the darkest ink on the outside edge of the panel.
Using Layered Laurel Stamp Set, the same inks were used to stamped the layers of leafy sprigs.
The panel was trimmed to 4” by 5 1/4” and adhered to a black matted, A2 sized card base.
The single poppy and butterfly from Bouquet of Poppies Stamp Set were stamped with Jet Black Ink on white card stock. The same ink was used to stamp the sentiment from this set on the card front.
Using the Bouquet of Poppies Stencil Set and the Micro Blending Brush Set, the flower was coloured with Rose Quartz found in the Rose Petal Fresh Dye Inks Set and Citrus Burst from Pocketful of Sunshine. The stem and leaves were inked with Green Fields Fresh Dye Inks Set.
Using the Quickie Glue Pen, tiny drops of glue were applied to highlight the leafy branches. They were coated with white glitter. When dry, a microfiber cloth will remove all the glitter except that adhered to the dots.
The images and white sheet foam were cut with the Bouquet of Poppies Die Set, stacked and adhered to the card.
